How to light and extinguish fire?

Before lighting fire one must fill the furnace with biofuel and light its fumes with a long lighter or a match. In order to extinguish the flame, its air supply must be shut off by covering the burner aperture with the lid, which is moved by means of a special handle. The lid and the handle are provided along with the device.

One must at all times observe the following safety rules:

• as fuel, only biofuel for bio-fireplaces can be used
• do not add fuel to an already lit fireplace
• only a cold, cooled fireplace may be refilled with fuel
